Aarambh Autism Society would develop a standalone unit in a residential project with focus on ASD and PWD. The block/wing in the residential complex would be designed to facilitate ASD and PWD and cater to their needs. In this space the ASD and PWD will get a barrier free environment, their special needs will be addressed and the worry for their future will diminish. It was an Autism friendly project.
Objectives
For the families of PWD the biggest worry is what will happen to their child after them. In an endeavor to address this concern Aarambh Society is committed to create an inclusive environment for support of ASD and PWDs and their families. We envision that when parents of ASD have gone, rest of the families residing in this project would adopt the orphaned PWD.
The residential locality would further enable the ASD to become a part of the mainstream. People will understand their needs and will be able to relate to the special beings they are.
Aarambh Society already construct vocational unit in phase I. The ASD and PWD work there and get employment and also they get engage.
